Love this Restaurant. I personally like the balcony seating. Must tries...Shrimp Green Curry served with white rice, Miso soup, and the Plum wine

I used to like this place, now it is overpriced and the size of the plates have been reduced. I do like the ambience and how clean this place is.

I have been coming here for many years. My favorite top menu choices have always been: Lobster Massaman Curry, Duck Curry, Tom Ka Goong Soup and their famous Pad Thai. Their sushi is great too but I prefer to order the Thai House Specialties instead as they always make it right.

I really enjoy this Thai restaurant. I've been coming to this one since 2002, back when I lived in Aventura. They have a very extensive menu of Thai dishes and sushi. I have to admit, I've never had the sushi here so I can't really comment on it. My top 2 fave dishes here: - green papaya salad appetizer - thai house crab fried rice These two dishes are MUST HAVES. We always order these 2 dishes and change up the rest of our menu depending on the day... And yes, medium spicy is VERY spicy! So beware!

Good food. Friendly staff. Even though the restaurant is Thai, they have a Japanese sushi bar there as well. I've tried both the Thai and the sushi menu. Stick with the Thai menu. The sushi is just OK.

Horrible place got the Thai fried rice and wasnt good At all the sushi was horrible also the waiter never came around for refills or anything I had to ask another guy for a refill wasnt satisfied at all definitely not going back

I am a big Thai food fan, so far I think I have been in almost every Thai Food restaurant in the area, they are always my best choice, You will never come out disappointed. great food, Best Pad Thai and Sushi, awesome service, nice place.
(5)Jennifer C.
Thai spring rolls with chicken - Nice sauce, but be careful they love removing plates before you are done. Sadly the waitress took my sauce before I finished my last piece. Lobster roll - had it minus the cream cheese.. delicious Salmon sashimi - FRESH and very generous pieces Seafood combination - well cooked ... but dont expect a lot of seafood about 4 pieces of scallops, a few pieces of shrimp and imitation crab, nice piece of fish fillet, about 8 pieces of squid and plenty of veggies with a small bowl of rice The food was ok, but the table are really on top of one another, and the staff likes to take your plates without even asking if they may, so 3 instead of 4 stars

Coming from Chicago I am not happy about this "Thai-sushi" thing Miami has going on. My general experience is that the typical restaurant in this category does neither very well. And I have yet to find a Thai place that equals the multitude of places in da Chi that I used to frequent. Thai House II is a notch above, but just a notch. The Thai selections were ok, the execution was ok. The sushi was nothing special. No desire to go back.

I come here once every couple of weeks. As sushi restaurants in this area go, this place serves super fresh, tasty sushi and sashimi at a fairly reasonable price. Rainbow roll is $10, Mini Sushi Mori is $12 (with miso soup), etc. Their chicken dishes are also delectable. The chicken curry and garlic pepper chicken are two of my favorites. The service is always good (though you have to endure the bright-colored synthetic silk shirts all the waiters and busboys have to wear) and the ambiance tries really hard to be authentic (intricately carved wood tables, floor seats, etc.). I used to go to (overpriced) Oishi Thai in this area until I discovered this place - better quality and better prices. You can't beat that!

The best Thai food round. This is a great looking place, very well run, very attentive staff and most important, great, great Thai food. They have all the usual dishes prepared to perfection. HIGHLY recommended.

This place is very close to where I work these days. My coworker went to pick up some lunch for us, and it was great! Yummy dish: (I've only tried once so far) - Tom ka Kai soup with coconut milk. Its a hot and sour Thai soup, with a creamier feel to it, with chicken. I usually like the Tom Yum Kai with shrimp, but it's pretty good with the chicken too. :) I'm definitely going back to try their other dishes. *beware, "Medium" spice here, is SUPER Spicy*

I've tried this place three times and so far I'm a fan. The first time was with one of my girlfriends and we tried various sushi rolls and I remember thinking I like this place and definitely want to come back. I've ordered takeout twice and tried the pad Thai, the volcano chicken, the regular curry chicken, and the panang curry with chicken. I found the curry to be mildly spicy and smooth in a soothing I want to keep eating this kind of way. The next time I ordered curry I specifically said EXTRA SPICY and it so was not. Luckily we ordered it with the volcano chicken and when you mix it together it turns up the heat. The pad Thai was good but it for some reason came with shrimp. I prefer my pad Thai either just vegetables or with chicken. There were very few vegetables and mostly green onions in it. Next time ill order vegetable or chicken if that's an option. We also ordered it spicy and it wasn't spicy enough. My only real complaint about this place is the prices - for two orders at takeout expect to pay $35! OUCH!

This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in So Fla. It also holds a special place in my heart because my hubby and I ate here the night we got engaged. Well, we decided to take a friend here for her birthday last night since she loves Thai food. We used to come here quite often several years ago and I noticed the menu had changed, so I was a little anxious to see if the taste changed, too. We ordered the veggie and chicken spring roll as appetizer. My husband ordered Chicken curry (spicy), I ordered the Chicken with ginger (medium) and my friend ordered Shrimp green curry (spicy). For dessert, we ordered one sticky rice custard to share. We all drank water. Usually on the weekend, it's a looooong wait here (2-3 hours wait) but since it was a Tuesday night, they basically sat us immediately. The decor was very pretty and it looked clean. The staff was friendly and made sure our waters were filled. The appetizers took about 10-15 min. It was fried spring rolls. We agreed that the chicken spring roll with the sauce tasted 10x better than the veggie spring roll. Even the sauce that came with the veggie was bland. I had to dip my veggie spring roll into the 'chicken' sauce to give it a better taste. We personally thought the appetizers were a bit overpriced. Then about 10-15 min later our entrees came out. They told us they have several levels of spiciness: mild, medium, spicy, extra spicy and Thai hot. Well my husband and friend asked for some hot sauce and pepper flakes since 'Spicy' wasn't spicy enough for them. I usually ordered my dish in mild but I decided to take a chance and got it medium. I was pleasantly surprised. In my opinion, with the exception of something hot here and there, it should be considered more mild than medium. My husband and I enjoyed our dishes. I forgot to ask my friend if she liked her shrimp green curry but it seemed like she did. LOL! We all had our own small rice but it may be too small of a portion for some people. Overall the entrees seemed fresh and tasty. The dessert was a sticky rice with some green Thai custard. It was okay. Maybe a little too sweet! We should have ordered the popular one which was fried bananas with ice cream. They also sang happy birthday and I thought that was cute. My husband was sooo disappointed because they used to come out with pots and pans (which they banged like drums) but this time they just sang. My friend didn't mind because she didn't want any additional attention on her anyway. LOL They did take a long time to give us the check but it was okay since we were talking so much. Overall the total came out to around $80 with tax (and that's with no drinks). PRO Very good food but if you want it extremely spicy, 'spicy' wont be enough Yummy chicken roll Friendly staff Pretty decor and looked very clean Dressed up just a little - I haven't seen anyone dressed casual CON Veggie roll was just okay (won't order this again) Spicy Rice custard was just okay (won't order this again) Rice portion might be too small for some people but we didnt get charged for extras
(4)Steven T.
Great food but the service was lacking. After we sat down, no one came to ask us what to drink nor took our order until I had to wave one of the server down. Overall, the food was good. Maybe it was just too busy that night.
(4)Paul H.
I went here a second time for dinner, ordered the same dishes and unfortunately the food was not up to par the first time. Do Not go an hour before the restaurant closes!
(3)Tony R.
Been coming here for decades. Consistently reliable. Spicy ground pork appetizer, volcano shrimp, pad thai always good. Friendly staff, efficient service.

Sickening--literally. See that single star? Quarter it, and remove 3 bits. Think, "small"--like the stingy crab rangoon appetizer at this place. 2 of our dining foursome got stomachaches after this experience, as unwilling as we were unable to finish our entrees: pad see ew and pad thai each with chicken. The "noodles" in these dish were chopped to smithereens; the delicate yet toothy textures of rice noodles ruined by overcooking, seasoning virtually nonexistent. In fact these were not noodles at all, but hash mush. Telling them apart would have been impossible in a blind taste test. Other 2 companions ordered medium-rare Japanese teriyaki steaks, one with tempura. One of the steak entrees was raw except at edges. Center was very red, soft, room temperature. Can you say "toxoplasmosis"? This fact at first disguised by the thick, sweet, reddish-brown sauce smothering the meat. The low-lighting helped. But we were armed with reading glasses. It was sent back. But only after waitress finally reappeared to check on our meal, then left for limes and forgot to take raw steak along, then returned to retrieve raw steak. The noodles, which should have been sent back, were not. Waitress was baffled when asked why the noodles were no longer noodles. Tempura was nicely done, as was the Oh-shin roll (fried soft shell crab, avocado, asparagus--we had them hold the masago. Why was masago in so many rolls that in most other places don't contain it? are they using it for filler?) and a cucumber roll we ordered as appetizers. Another appetizer, crab rangoons, was ridiculous: 8 pieces, and each one was smaller than 1-inch diameter--smaller than a single bite of hosomaki. Puny and bland, as was the clear "sauce" that accompanied them, they met the bare minimum standard for fried food--they were hot and crispy--but that was it. Atmosphere, once you get beyond the carved entry doors, is mostly dark, dismal, and dated (80s? earlier?). Some kind of Asian pop with a high-pitched and very repetitive lyric played loudly and endlessly the entire time we sat there. Napkins are the kind that should be outlawed in all restaurants: nonabsorbent polyester that can't be folded decoratively because it cannot hold a shape, let alone dripped food. Overall, it's mystifying how such bad food and lame experience hasn't resulted in a unified revolt by diners who happen to eat there at the same time. Instead, we all ignore the power of unity, quietly pay the bill--ours was $100, without drinks or tip, for appetizers and entrees for 4--and leave as we swear, "never again." You're lucky. After reading this, you don't have to go in the first place.

This place has been there for 27 years, even if the Thai deco looks sometimes old, the service is fast and efficient, I did not try the sushi, but the Thai cuisine was delicious and well presented. Well done. Some poeple might say this is pricy but this is well cooked and you feel they do not play with quality of product they are using. Nice place for dinner with familly.
(4)Greg G.
One of the best lunch specials in town. For about $8 you get 1 Chicken Wonton Soup 2 Mini Egg Rolls 2 Chicken fried triangles 1 Damn good curry dish Their sushi is among the best in the area also. A little pricey. The rest of the dishes are a little taxed.
(5)Carlos P.
The wait for a table was about 30 minutes so we opted to sit on the floor. What a great choice! The floor seating area was actually much more quiet than the seated area and more comfortable in my opinion. The restaurant is decorated lavishly in asian influences, you really get the sense you are dining in an authentic thai restaurant on location! I ordered the Saute Chicken with black pepper and white rice. The chicken was absolutely delicious and not spicy at all. It was big enough for two people to share actually. The sushi that my friends spilt was also quite big, since it came in an oversized boat. It was fresh, clean and delicious. For dessert, I couldn't leave without trying the Thai donuts and they were exquisite! I will definetly be coming back here whenever I am in the area. It's the Thai jewel of Aventura, take my word for it!

I have been visiting the Thai House II since 1983 and I have never been disappointed . The Food and service are always excellent. They have a great menu with a lot of tasty selections. I give the Thai House II a 5 star excellent rating. By Gregg L. Friedman MD, Psychiatrist, Hallandale Beach, FL

I'd give this place another star but the ambiance and waiter's outfits KILL me. Talk about not cute. On a better note, I am ridiculously obsessed with the chicken curry here. In fact, when I lived close by this resto, I ate it 3 times a week and but on 15 pounds. Yeah, every pound was worth the coconut-curry sweetness! Other faves include the Thai House shrimp (deep-fried shrimp wrapped in a pastry), wonton soup (can't beat this broth!) and Thai donuts. My husband loves the sushi here and says it's always fresh. Now, if only they'd freshen up their look...
(4)Vanessa P.
I have to agree with another Yelper below. The food is good, decent, but a little pricey for what it is, as I'm sure there are slightly less expensive places around. I've only had their Thai chicken curry dish each time I've been, but each time it's always been solid, so no complaints.

I've been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years. It is my Thai benchmark. It's one of the musts when I'm back in Miami visiting. When I was a mere tot, they used to make me plain chicken in elaborate tinfoil origami-esque constructions (great service and attn to detail!), as I grew, so did my palate...and I could appreciate their delicious food. They are always great about modifying your order if you want. Now as a veg-aquarian, I can still go there and enjoy so many options. Some highlights: wonton soup (pre-veggie days) - so yummy, not to salty, always the right amt of scallion, and their dumpling skin is so thin and delicate, not thick and chewy as is so often the case. C6 with baby corn - actually chicken in oyster sauce with veggies, and I always add the baby corn. mmmmm. Not viscose-y at all, hurray! Crispy Noodles (1 crispy nudo for the table?) - aka Mee Krab (I think). My brother loves this dish so much that I once took a pic of it on my phone and sent it to him while I was in Miami and he wasn't just to taunt him. It worked. N2 - glass noodles, with chicken and broccoli and scallions and egg, and deliciousness in spades. Decor - I love the carved wooden tables, and the floor seating (which we always subjected our Dad to on birthday dinners), and the wall hangings, etc... This place is also big on nostalgia for me, so it's a winner all around. Enjoy.

Very interesting decor and when you enter, you might see a long line. I tried their red curry chicken; the sauce with the coconut milk and vegetables was soothingly delicious. I was asked always if I wanted some more rice. I never tried their sushis, so I don't know how they are. It's so nice to have some red curry chicken leftovers to take home and cook it again. You might think I'm weird, but I love to eat it with my plain yogurt sauce (think tzaziki at Greek restaurants), which makes the hot rice easier to eat along with the spiciness of the rest of the food.
(5)Alice A.
Excellent satay, good red curry, average pad Thai, delivers locally, pick up is ready in 15 minutes.
(4)Sophie D.
Been going here since 2006 and never had a bad experience. It is a little expensive but totally worth it. I believe they have the best pad thai in Miami! Their sushi is also phenomenal and always fresh. The staff is amazing and very attentative.
(5)mark m.
The thai house was great!(from customer service to food quality/taste) I ordered the chili squid as an appetizer and vegetable curry with tofu and pad thai with thai ice tea. We will be going back by weeks end. 5 out of 5 stars.
(5)Jordan N.
The thai food was good, not bad, but there are better and less pricey thai in the area such as Panya Thai farther west on 163rd/167th Street.
(3)Mark L.
This is probably the best Thai restaurant in Dade County. The sushi is fresh and well made. The curries are outstanding and the Pad Thai is classic. Don't go on the weekend if you can avoid it. It gets very busy and hard to get a seat. Excellent for big groups too.
(4)Ash H.
Favorite Restaurant Ever! Crave it everyday! Amazing sushi

Love it, love their lunch deals especially the chicken curry. Very authentic food and atmosphere!

Friday night ,and it was packed. With couples and families. That wasn't a bad thing food was hot delicious and fast! The menu is a book with pages of Asian delights. We had sushi , Pad Thai, Panang Chicken, with my favorite Thai ice tea, I could have licked the plate!!!
(4)Ivy O.
I would come here with my co-workers every monday. All of us love it! Prices are fair, service is adequate and food is delicious. Whenever I order lunch special you get so much food that I never finnish everything. I have not had a chance to try sushi here but the lunch specials are great!
(4)Harlera F.
Amazing food!! and great service. Love all the Thai dishes and I recommend ordering the Banana Delight for Dessert...with ice-cream off course ;)
(4)Christopher D.
Superb Thai food. Large menu that offers a sushi bar as well. Worth every penny and the trip. Very elegant interior that compliments a knowledgeable and rather interesting staff. (Our waitress didn't write anything down) and we had a party of 9 people. Best part was... nothing came out wrong! Needless to say her tip was a little over the top. Well deserved and definitely a place to revisit. This is my second time as I write this and I'm sure there will be a lot more. 2 thumbs up on top of 5 stars for Thai House 2!
(5)Nirvana S.
Went out for date night with my husband tonight, service was really bad and the "beef tempei" or whatever it's called (beef skewers with peanut sauce) was very rubbery and tasted awful. We sent them back because besides the texture and flavor being horrid, it looked like there was curdled coconut milk around the edges. Also the peanut sauce was separated from the oil so it was just a greesy mess. My husband ordered a pepper shrimp which tasted really good so that was a plus. Waitress forgot to bring me extra Ginger for my sushi and it took very long to find her and get her attention to finally bring some. Maybe they were upset we didn't like the skewers, oh well...they didn't look like beef!! I wouldn't be surprised if they buy their meet in a dirty ally. We won't be back.
(1)Lauren K.
This place is amazing. The service is great and the employees are very nice and helpful. They are always checking to see if you need anything. I thought the food was delicious and this is one of my favorite places in Miami.
(5)Penn D.
I haven't eaten here in over 20 years. Used to be a family favorite when I was younger. It was a much smaller place back then and there was no real reason why we stopped going, we just did. So to come back 20 plus years later it was good to see some familiar sites like their glass covered wood carved tables, the silk wait staff uniforms and the sunken tables. We ordered a few appetizers most notably was the papaya salad and of the entrees the chicken curry will be ordered again. I gave it 4 stars, cause on this night everything from the service to the food was spot on. Didn't have the sushi, so don't have a comment on that.
(4)Sadie L.
The sushi was fresh (the salmon, tuna, yellowtail, etc) and delicious! The house salad dressing (ginger) was alright, just different from what I'm used to. The decorations and the place itself was lovely. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the waitress was rushing us. We didn't have much time to look at the menu... But other than that, it was great.
(4)Angel L.
ordered take out. when i arrived at the house it was not what i ordered. the customer service was horrid. the manager didn't even make an effort to correct the situation. this is not the first time they have made such an outrageous mistake. when consuming the food it was ill prepared. this is the second time, i figure we give it another go but no. i called my cc to stop payment for the purchase. save your $$$ and go to a little known place which food is freshly made and better tasting. little thai house just 1.2 miles down the road. when establishment has such bad customer service they don't deserve good customers. i give them an F grading.
(1)Katie L.
The first time i came to this restaurant, I was floored by the service, the attentiveness of our server to the large group we were, the food, and the genuine atmosphere. It was honestly beyond what I could have expected for first time Thai food (that also serves japanese sushi) in my neighborhood. The fact that a place like that exists and is located in my general area makes me happy. I've gone back countless times and ordered from there at work, and they never cease to completely satisfy my hunger. I definitely think sitting in house is better than delivery, but the food is what matters. And their food is delicious. I recommend the massaman curry, it's excellent. I've tried many dishes, and have consistently been blow away by flavors. Their portions are on the bigger side, so I suggest saving some, perhaps half for home. It's still awesome when you heat it up the second time, I can assure you of that, because I've done it a few times now. The service is friendly and they know their menu, I cannot ask for more. If you do lunch, I suggest their sushi, it's the bomb. I recommend eating here for dinner, just for a heads up, the kitchen closes around 10 pm, so make sure to get there before then.
(5)Michelle D.
This place has my favorite curry but you won't find the usual spicy kick here. The curry is sweet and delicious and not spicy AT ALL when you order mild, which is fine by me. Usual entrees are about $13-20. Some appetizers are a little pricey in my opinion. $7 for Thai fries or Thai crispy noodles? The Thai tea is good though and I love their ginger dressing.
(4)Jen K.
Local friends brought us to one of their favorites, Thai House II, and we really enjoyed it. Did the sushi thing instead of Thai, and we were very impressed. The sashimi dinner I had was delicious, as were the California eel roll and spider roll my husband ordered. All of the seafood was very fresh, well cut, and the portions were good. Service was on point. They have a nice little wine list as well.
(4)CARLOS S.
the mother of THAI food. great service wonderfull service, FRESH sushi they have a big xtra private room for events I'm a big fan We drive from broward county to eat well
(4)Deke K.
Bad service for single diner. Seated next to a pole and very loud couple--even though restaurant was virtually empty. 6-7 staff standing around cash register, socializing with pregnant staff member. Extreme long wait to get water. Longer wait to order. Asked for hot tea, thinking I'd get a Thai flavor--jasmine hopefully. Was simply green tea. Ordered ginger pork after a divine Thai dish closer to home. Fine ginger flavor, unfortunately no heat intensity, pork did not seem "fresh". White rice, not jasmine rice was disappointing. intricate carvings were lovely--but needed dusting. This restaurant is not trying hard enuf to keep customers coming back. :( Cheap imitation of what Thai should be.
(1)Sonia S.
Yesterday, we ordered the tom yung goong soup, a couple of spicy tuna rolls, beef with basil, and the hosamaki sushi roll combination platter. It was more than enough food for the two of us. The total bill, including tip was just under $60. The service is not the best - we were waiting for refills on our jasmine tea, for chili sauce, and to place our orders for 10-15 minutes each - but the food was delicious. The decor and ambience is lovely, and it seems like a good place for large groups if one were to judge by the number of large groups present.
(4)Tiant H.
impressed!
(5)Rob C.
Feels like one of those places maybe past its prime. Lots of Miami restaurants seem to combine Thai and Japanese. Usually if you do both, it's hard to do either well.
(3)S B.
Don't waste a precious evening dining out at this place! Since we were in the mood for sushi, always love Thai and were staying close by decided to give this place a try since it had mostly positive reviews. The sushi was OK, especially the American Beauty roll as recommended by another reviewer but the food was not good. We've had Thai food all over the U.S. ( unfortunately not in Thailand yet!) and this was the worst representation we've experienced. The pad Thai was tasteless and bland. We asked for peanut sauce hoping to doctor it up up but it was horrible too. Reminded us of stale peanut butter with extra sugar mixed in and heated. We ordered the curry chicken medium spicy and it was even blander than than the pad Thai. It consisted of chicken breast pieces, a few green peas, and a couple red peppers floating in warm 2% milk and tasted as such! We'll continue trying other sushi & Thai restaurants in the area in search of a winner. In the meantime, Area Code 55 Brazilian Steakhouse, a stones throw away, is excellent!

Okay...I know I've said I LOVE Sushi Siam, and I still do; however, I am IN LOVE with Thai House II! This restaurant has stolen me away fair and square. I've been there quite a few times, all experiences have been great; I was also just there a few hours ago on Christmas day and had the 'crispy duck'...amazing. Customers were pleasantly surprised with a gift of incense at the end of the meal (they're just so sweet). I've had several of the curry dishes, duck, plenty of the sushi and sashimi, and every pad thai available. I must say, the food has ALL been delicious. My favorite thing to eat there is the 'lobster roll'; I've had it a couple of times and just can't enough of it's plentiful serving, big pieces of crispy lobster, and overall sushi goodness. The service has ALWAYS been great; I've had several of the waiters who have all been kind and professional. I've never felt rushed (whether the place is empty or crowded). It's also great for large parties; I planned a dinner for 21 people there and the service and food was as good as always. This is a restaurant worth going to. PERIOD.
(5)Cary G.
One of the best places for sushi in the area. The staff is very professional and attentive. The thai dishes are good, but the sushi is always my favorite. Overall the experience here is always consistent. I've never had a bad experience or had one of those days where something wasn't as good as the last visit. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a good quality meal and pleasant atmosphere.
(4)David K.
Second chance. This time my meal was delicious. I just ordered an entrée. mix vegetable curry with fried tofu seasoned well. Service was good.
(4)Sandy R.
I've been coming here for a few years. Friendly staff, great variety of menu options. Good for celebrations, date night, or just a quick bite. American Beauty roll is my favorite. If you like tuna, you're in for a treat. The edamame is average - nothing special. The Thai style pillow seating was an interesting and fun experience, sadly they've gotten rid of that. Was one of the great features. The tables have very intricate detail - definitely add to the lovely ambiance all together. Very lovely server, Austin. He's great, if you can.. Ask for him!
(4)Lindsay A.
Thai House II has become my go to Thai restaurant in the Aventura/North Miami Beach area. Each time the food and service have been consistent and very good. Water glasses are constantly refilled and the table was clean throughout the meal. The restaurant has always been clean when I stopped by, including the bathrooms. The restaurant is similar to the type of Thai restaurant experiences I'm used to on the West Coast (Exception: There is a Japanese menu here as well, though I only go for the Thai food). This is definitely, in my opinion, one of the better Thai restaurants I have tried in the area with flavorful food. For appetizers I have ordered the Satee Chicken, Shrimp Spring Rolls, and Crab Rangoon. The Satee does come with a little grill to brown the sides of the chicken more. The presentation of the appetizers are nice as well, with most plates including an orchid on the side. One area they don't skimp on is the meats or vegetables. The shrimp green curry has been one of my favorite dishes I've tried. The shrimp, which are really prawns, are huge and filling. The dish was filled with snow peas, carrots, sweet peas, zucchini, and basil leaves, which all worked well with the curry sauce. Additionally I've had the Shrimp Massaman Curry and the Panang Curry, which have been good as well. Another dish I've tried is the Pad Thai, which was the typical Pad Thai dish I'm used to at most restaurants. This dish can be ordered with Shrimp only or the version that comes with shrimp and minced pork. I prefer the version with the minced pork since I think it gives the dish a lot more flavor. The only downside is they don't deliver to my apartment...
(5)Kimberly K.
I have absolutely no complains about this place! The Thai tea was made with the perfect balance between tea and cream. My friend and I started with the seared tuna ceviche and scraped the plate CLEAN! It's s Japanese version of ceviche where they use tuna tataki, a spring mix, and instead of soaking the tuna in lemon, the chef tosses everything in a delicious kimchi sauce. For entrees, we had the duck basil in "hot" and chicken curry in "Thai spicy". FOREWARNING: if you are not used to eating Thai spicy, prepare yourself with your own personal travel pack of tissues throughout the meal and interesting sensations in your stomach the day after. I love spicy and enjoyed the curry with all my heart, but since I do not often eat food at the Thai level hotness, I can unshamefully admit that both of those things happened to me haha. Although we asked for "hot", our duck basil didn't taste spicy at all. Or maybe the Thai curry covered up whatever spice the duck had. Anywho, the duck was more on the sweet side and I'm actually glad it didn't end up feeling hot because it simmered down the curry for my taste buds when I needed a break. Fantastic duck!! Love the amount of basil leaves infused with this dish.

Really good food! Plates are big and really tasty!! A whole variety of options too. A bit expensive however, especially if u like fish. Highly recomend the shrimp with cashew nuts! The staff is also very friendly.

Great ambiance! Lots of fine details such as woodcarved doors and tables. Some sashimi appetizers come on ice in large glowing martini glasses. The service was great. Very kind, polite, and attentive. I planned on ordering Shrimp Pad Thai but after I told our waitress she suggested the Seafood Pad Thai since she noticed that I ordered the Whole Grilled Calamari for my appetizer and guessed I would enjoy it more. She was right. The food slightly fell short of my expectations. The Whole Grilled Calamari was not seasoned whatsoever but came with soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce for dipping. To cook the calamari body thoroughly, which is thicker, they have to overcook the tentacles which made them tough. The Pad Thai was below average. In my experiences Pad Thai is very similar from restaurant to restaurant. This was the first time it was any less enjoyable. The Thai Tea was just right though. If there's a next time I'll be indulging in their sushi. I'll be looking for a better Thai restaurant in town but in the meantime Thai House II will do in a pinch.
(3)Rob G.
Ive been coming here for probably 25+ years, and its still very good and consistent. The sushi quality is excellent, and if you like salmon skin, they know how to do it right. The Thai food is also very good. They have all the standard dishes, and they will make custom sushi rolls if you ask them too. They have a full bar too. Service is good, but they can get very busy. If you have never been here, its worth a visit. They also offer take-out and delivery.
(4)Natalie H.
The food was spectacular and everything was great! But I am giving this place 4 stars because the seating arrangement is terrible, you feel like you don't have your privacy just because of the fact that people are literally on top of you!!!
(4)Shareen R.
Good Thai food and fresh sashimi! The quality are pretty consistent at this place ! Service are friendly good atmosphere
(4)Jennifer A.
The food was great, their customer service was very good. A MUST try is their duck basil, it is really good. It was my first time trying duck and there were no complaints. Finish off with their Thai donuts, I'm addicted!
(5)Felix K.
Would give 5 stars , but last time was there the rolls we're mediocre. Best and most unique king sea food soup . Big variety of dishes and best desrert .
(4)Dewey C.
Man has this joint gone down, down and downer since I was last here 15 years ago (maybe more, who cares). None of the food was up to par and the very old duck had a most pungent odor. They made some limp excuse about the WiFi not working. Tsk tsk! What annoyed me more than anything was the fact that they never cleaned up the droppage between courses so at the check presentation it really was quite disgusting. I don't know how they stay in business; maybe the public likes the nice napkin color, dunno??
(2)Pedri C.
Thai House has always been one of my favorite places to go to when I've wanted quality Thai food. The ambience is kinda kitschy with carved tables & Thai artifacts but the foods what I come for. The chicken curry and chicken & Basil are usually spot on. They got rid of their country seating section which kinda sucks. Lol it was nice to sit away from the chatter of the main seating area in your own secluded table where you got to enjoy your dinner. Though sometimes they did forget you were over there!! Looks weird now with nothing but tables. Had the Ebi Tempura for 2 appetizer with 2 jumbo shrimp and vegetables. It's noticeably smaller now and the panko tastes different. It didn't stop me from inhaling it!! OmNomNom! The red chicken curry was phenomenal as usual and tonite they finally kicked up the heat and it was spot on!! Love me some spice and some Thai House ll! Can't wait to get back here. So worth the drive.
(5)Andrea F.
Too much for my first time in this restaurant. I ordered #11 with chicken and it was as good as dog food. They do have a nice location, and the service was okay the manager took care of the bill and apologized for the inconvenience.
(2)Nora D.
The staff is very friendly and our waitress went the extra mile to make sure our expectations were met. She kept refilling our drinks without having to ask for it nor wait too long. The food is very good, not the best but good enough to talk about it and recommend it to any thai food lovers. The Satee Chicken is definitely an appetizer I recommend from this restaurant (the peanut butter sauce is amazing), the regular Pad Thai has a very subtle sweet taste that I enjoyed very much. The fried bananas would have probably been better with chocolate instead of honey but they are very good! So it is a good idea to keep some space for that dessert... The ambiance is really nice, the decor will have you talk about it as it is very detailed. The lights are dimmed, which I like, not too bright, not too dark. The settings make it easier to walk around without bumping to other people. And the restaurant is kept very clean...
(4)Alexandria G.
Love this place so fresh and so great! They have the best curry however I do NOT recommend their sweet and sour chicken it was like a soup so yucky!! But everything else I have had here has been great!!
(4)David K.
I will never go back!!! I ordered veg curry. It was salty and had way to much sauce. Tall manger lady with glasses was not very helpful when I expressed my displeasure and I got ripped off on the price. I asked for panang with vegggies only and,was charged $15.75. For a vegggie dish that was very upsetting. And it was very noise in the restaurant as well. See ya thai house 2. U will never get a dollar from me again!!!!!
(4)Dyanna P.
I am a regular here. I like their food but I honestly had a bad experience the last time I went. My friend (white skinned) and I (black skinned) had ate half of our food and decided to pack the rest to go. The lady attending us asked my friend of she needed help to pack her food and so she did. On the other hand my food was left there in my plate for me to pack it myself. I don't know - call me crazy but why would she only help my friend and not me ( as a matter of fact I was the one who asked for the boxed).
(2)Danielle W.
Really delicious dumplings for appetizers! Shared the french roll and dragon roll. The french roll was cool cause it had egg wrapped around the shrimp and cream cheese! Very friendly staff!
(4)Elise H.
This place never disappoints! There are so many amazing dishes on their menu but my favorites by far are the papaya salad (medium spicy), fresh rolls, spicy tuna ceviche, pad thai, and pad woon sen (clear noodles). Great service and decently priced.
(5)Isis N.
Not a memorable meal, but I was in the area after Christmas shopping and decided to stop by. Not vegan friendly.
(3)Dyann P.
This is the most delicious, consistent and reliable restaurant in the North Miami/Sunny Isles area. We frequent often and also regularly have it delivered to our home. I decided to write this review because this place never disappoints.... The food is always very well prepared and beautifully presented. They specialize in delicious and authentic Thai and Japanese dishes. Also serving super fresh sushi that is consistently above our expectations. I have to really say that this is my favorite restaurant for fresh sushi, sashimi, and tataki. They serve the best tuna tataki that I have had in all of Miami.... A must try. The restaurant is family owned and in business at this location for decades. I respect a privately owned Business where they work hard and go above and beyond to make sure the patrons have an enjoyable dining experience ...... The fresh orchids that are nestled in the dish are a perfect example of the beauty of their home made food.
(5)Mina G.
Way less than impressed for a restaurant that was on Miami's top 50. I was here years ago and even then didn't think much of it. So my friend and I went for lunch on a Saturday. It was no where near busy, that meant we were going to get service quickly, which we did. Ordered a soup, vegetable egg rolls, shrimp pad Thai with extra vegetables, and chicken friend rice. We got our food in a descent amount of time, but I look at my food and there are no extra vegetables to be found. I ask my waitress where are they and she forgot to add them to my order and said "I haven't added it to your order, do you still want them?" Of course I did! The flavor of the pad that was way to fishy compared to other pad Thai dishes. Also the chicken wanton soup wasn't too appetizing. The other fried food parts were good in relative order. Needless to say, the waitress brought my steamed vegetables, and small saucers worth. And I could finally eat. At the end of it all I still had to pay for my waitress's mistake! It made no sense! She added the vegetable to the order even when she didn't put the order in correctly. I couldn't believe that. I paid the bill and left. I won't be going back.
(2)Yami R.
The best Curry chicken in town... And the House fried rice is amazing! My favorite, Dragon roll... Always fresh food!
(4)Elana M.
Pros: The service is really good. Cons: As another Yelper stated, the curry sauces are watery and bland. The chicken teriyaki came out cold and the sauce tasted like it was right out of a bottle. I'll stick with Panya Thai and Ricky's.
(2)Angie Y.
The food is good, papaya salad is good, best Pad Kee Mao ever had in Miami. Sushi is fresh but the large rolls are over priced and not large at all compared to regular rolls. The service is horrible, the servers in pink clothes were chatting loudly and doing nothing. Only the ones in black clothes(chefs?) were actually serving us. I finished my drink and nobody refilled my cup until I asked for check and drinks, servers were standing right in front of our table chatting. There were only 2 tables including mine.....sucks. They also have problems with their consistency. I went there with my friend last time and they served us rice with our entrees. This time I went there with my husband and I had to asked for rice. There were only 2 tables with customers and I waited 10 minutes for rice....and one bottle of beer. I'll be back for the food, but nest time if this ever happened I would refuse to tip them and report to their manager or owner.
(3)Jack B.
I visited this place just one time. I was told that is was very good. I didnt fell very good when i asked to have some kind of ingredientes on the side and the keep saying It's not possible. Not helpful staff.
(2)CG V.
Not the best Thai place, but certainly not the worse. This evening I ordered the Pad Thai dinner and Papaya salad. The Pad Thai is not the best, but it sure does taste yummy. It had a very generous amount to of chicken and shrimp; can't beat that. The Papaya salad was really good, but they need to add more green papaya and less peanuts. Nice friendly staff and attentive.
(3)Jean S.
I do not reconmend this restaurant....service good, manager extremelly rud and impolite The plate that I order came with a hair. From the kitchen..... Other of the plates had no flavour what so ever....
(1)Rachele S.
By far my favorite Thai restaurant for years. I always tell myself if I move away, the first restaurant I will miss is this place. I don't eat seafood so I'm limited to veggie or chicken sushi. They make it the best and freshest. Also the pad Thai is to die for. I never leave this place unsatisfied or feeling sick.. Always light on my feet and satiated. I recommend the Thai doughnuts for dessert or fried ice cream.
(5)Frank A.
This is jiust a great place. I love their sushi and thai food. You will not be disappointed.
(5)Ian O.
This place has a very cool atmosphere and cool decor. Very authentic. My favorite dish is the crispy duck, yum. And they deliver which is always a plus. So you can eat in or you can order out, both are great. Service and food is good and the prices are fair.
(4)Tricia S.
The 2 times I have been here, the sushi is very good. But, the main courses have not been good. I have gotten 2 different curries "thai hot" and they were both not spicy and tasted like water. Not good. My husband got the crispy duck (tasted disgusting and old)....the time before he got a beef dish which was very overcooked and bland. For great thai, the tiny thai house is awesome. I can't get enough of that place, but wanted to try something new. Bad move by me. This place is only good for sushi.
(2)David C.
I've been eating here for years. It is one of the best most consistent restaruants around. The service is always solid, the decorations are pretty intense Thai. Eat this!!! Thai House's Shrimp Sumai Tom Ka Gai King of the Sea Duck Curry Chicken Curry (or Mix Vegtables) Pad Thai Crazy Roll Spicy Tuna Temaki
(4)Vadim S.
Celebrate my friends birthday here. Food was good and big portions.
(4)Elinne M. D.
Tried it for the first time tonight and loved it. Ordered delivery and it came within an hour. The papaya salad was fresh, spicy, and just absolutely delicious. The chicken pad Thai was also very good. For dessert went with the Thai donuts. Will definitely do dinner here again.
(4)Chad R.
Absolute best coconut curry chicken on the planet. Great friendly service. Cool floor seating if you get lucky. Reasonable prices. Oh did I mention the coconut curry chicken? Thai house II is my favorite Thai place in Miami. It's a bit of a drive from south beach or downtown but it is worth it.
(5)Anastassia S.
Horrible smell inside the restaurant portions are small, very slow service . Low class chineese and thai restaurant, also soup was OVEr salted
(1)Soravit K.
Beautiful decorations, great food, and friendly staff! Not a single complaint!
(5)Sharon S.
My favorite restaurant
(5)Ivan M.
Its a great place to share food with family, friendly service. We had the chicken and beef curry and the ginger pork. Very tasty overall it was some decent thai
(3)Dara B.
The Thai and sushi dishes are delicious. very artistic environment and friendly staff.
(5)F. K.
I have never had a bad experience! The curry is some of the best I have eaten in Florida.... I have been going there for so many years I cannot keep track. The Thai House Shrimp is wonderful... My friends love the sushi... I do not eat sushi so I cannot comment. Service is always helpful and attentive....
(5)Naty S.
The place has a beautiful decor, hand carved walls and tables. Very traditional look and it is obvious that all the pieces are imported. One of a kind place, visually. However, I just went there for lunch and I believe is not their forte to do lunch hour. The staff was very dispersed and lacked focus. There was no hostess, a waitress had to come and greet us. Once we were sat, no one came to say hello or serve some water or anything. We started joking around that we were seated in the blind spot. Finally a waiter came took our drink and food order and disappeared. Still to be found. We had to start asking other staff members for the status of our food and for refills on water. After a long wait our order came incomplete and the food quality did not impress me as the other reviews state. I ordered a Chicken Pad Tai and it was OK a lot of chicken cartilage (which I do not enjoy). My friend ordered some curry lunch special which was much better than my lunch special chicken pad tai! The lunch special prices are great. Prices range from $4 to $10 the most. Which makes it a nice affordable lunch place. I guess is one of those places that deserve a second chance.
(3)Ashley K.
Horrible chicken pad Thai with no flavor. My normal place is closed today and I ordered here and it's so disappointing. Go to Ricky Thai Bistro.
(2)Tam P.
The food is always good! Service is excellent. Prices are reasonable. The decors inside are really pretty. This is my most favorite Thai food to go in North Miami. No comment on the sushi as I've never had it here before.
(5)Nikki B.
Excellent food, service, eat in and take out service. The staff is very sincere and friendly with outgoing personalities at all times.
(5)Dani B.
They got rid of the floor seating, so sad! But still an awesome place.
(5)Melody Y.
I'm not an expert BUT... I've been to some of the BEST Thai places in the country from New York to Dc and Houston. I love Thai food... but I don't love it here! 1. None of the main dishes are served with pasta, which may be the traditional way (I don't know) but I was expecting pasta with my Spicy Basil Chicken. That's how I've always had it. 2. Spicy Basil Chicken is supposed to be spicy. Hence the name. I asked for my dish to be EXTRA spicy! I even said it twice to make sure they got it. I love for my food to make my nose run and make me feel like I'm about to have a heart attack. I was sadly disappointed at the mediocre level of spice. And it barely had much flavor in general. 3. I ordered spring rolls to go along with my dish. I've never had spring rolls like that before. It was a batter mixed with a minimal amount of vegetables inside the roll. It was just weird. Not bad but not good. The sauce was good albeit a little light. 4. My dish and the 2 rolls cost $24. I could have got 4 chicken meals at Pollo Tropical for that. It was kind of pricy. #Imjustsayin. Overall, Thai House II may be good to experience once but I'm sure there are better Thai places in Miami.
(2)Carl P.
Excellent flavor fantastic service in a quiet tucked away location. Fantastic pad see lew and sweeter than usual the green papaya salad was excellent again more sweet than I am use to. Restaurant is very clean warm new design. Overall for our first Thai restaurant in Miami this was excellent .
(5)Paulita P.
Low Carb Roll is amazing!! Sushi is fresh and tasty!!
(5)Claudette C.
I was looking forward to eating a great meal here, that did not happen! The food and service was bad! Go to Panya Thai, its better!
(1)Narcisa M.
The food is okay but the service is not good. I went twice and both times got disappointed.
(2)Laure M.
Busy place on Saturday, you'll probably have to wait for a table. Food is good and portions are generous. We shared some appetizers, they were just ok for me. But the chicken & shrimp pad Thai made it much better. Portion was big so you can share it.
(3)Carmen D.
Food is always good here. Love their rendition of thai fried rice doesn't matter what style you order you will be pleased Dessert yum sushi yum waitstaff very nice and the restrooms are clean too. Count me in.
(4)Janit K.
REALLY SUPER DELICIOUS PAD THAI!!! but honestly, the real reason I come here is for the thai iced tea. heaven in each sip. only down side is everything is so pricey!! unless you come for lunch, then it's not so bad.
(4)K B.
Wish I would of checked out yelp, before eating here. Agree with previous comments. Service was great. Food is so bland. I got what is called Volcano Chicken, with a 3 spice level out of 4. Seeing I like spicy food. It was sweet and sugary like tomatoes, vegetables undercooked, chicken over cooked, and no seasoning whatsoever. I complained and the manager was rude and said I should of asked for a taste of the sauce first before. So if you eat here, make sure you ask for a sample of whatever you are thinking about ordering. Good luck.
(1)Angie P.
This is by far our favorite Thai restaurant. We have tried many other places to stack them up against Thai house 2 and really they don't compare. We are there at least 2-3 times per month. We always ask for Amy to wait on us. She took care of is the first time we went and had such a great experience that we only want her. The papaya salad is fresh, their special rolls are all delicious and creative. My favorite is the OMG roll. Their pad Thai is the best around. Everything you order is very good actually. I've never had a bad meal there. I take family there, clients and friends and have never regretted it. 6 stars!
(5)Stuart S.
Not only is this the best Thai food I have ever had, but it is one of the best overall restaurants too! I have been eating there for 20 years now and I have never had a bad meal. Never! For appetizers, the crispy noodle is a must. It is like cotton candy's answer for noodles. Also for appetizers I enjoy the fried shrimp rolls and some kind of a meat on a skewer. The best part of the meat on a skewer is that it comes with a peanut butter sauce that tastes good on everything! Although this is a Thai restaurant, the sushi is very, very good too. For the main course you must order the Pad Thai. I guess I should mention that in all of my visits here I have never ordered a meal solely for myself and I feel that this is the best way to experience their food. So the more people you come with then the more meals you can order for the table. So Pad Thai should be number one. They also have a great chicken with chili paste that you can order at the level of spiciness that you can handle. There are just too many fantastic meals here to remember and name them all. This place is the best! On my goal to try different cultural foods I can say that I have tried Thai food.
(5)Dominique O.
I love all Thai restaurants but this is by far my favorite. The pad Thai is amazing and the spring rolls are delicious. I won't even try another place in Miami because this one is too delicious to pass up. The set up is cute with traditional decorations and they have an area where you can sit on the floor with pillows surrounding the tables. Definitely recommend!!!!!
(5)Carolina M.
Ok i gotta say that they food wasn't terrible, but i have had much better. My 1 star rating is mainly because of service. The waitress was very slowwww, not pleasant or friendly. The place inside is stuck in the 80's and i feel needs a good cleaning. The food wasn't bad , like i mentioned before but there are many other places to eat Thai that this restaurant has to keep up with its competitors and they are not doing a good job. I was surprised there was even people there eating where you can go sompeplace else and get better service and of course better food. My husband an i had the green and red chicken curries and it was edible, we were both hungry so we ate it, just not a place to go visit again. The service was so slow and bad he tried paying with a credit card but after waiting for our waitress to come to our table and collect the check for about 20 minutes to no avail, he decided to pay with cash so we could finally get outta there. I know it was late and the wait staff was packing everything to go home but this was ridic. I haven't had such bad service in a while. I'm glad i try the place, but definitely not going back again.
(1)Denise N.
Excellent service, good food. Staff is attentive and friendly. Wasn't too pleased with the sushi rice, but the ingredients used and overall such I rolls where good.
(3)Chris M.
This is one of my favorite spots to eat. We usually sit at the sushi bar and the staff is always pleasant and attentive. The sushi is always tasty, pad Thai with shrimp tastes great as do the squid rings !
(5)Carrie B.
Somehow I missed this place when I lived here or at least don't recall it, but man is it awesome! The Pad Thai and Thai beef were fantastic! Service was great and it's a big place so there wasn't a wait. Definitely will keep it in mind for next time!
(5)Priscilla S.
I've passed on this place countless times thinking it was just another dime-a-dozen Sushi/Thai spot. I was shocked when I walked in to find a decent looking place packed with people and with a full sushi bar. We were seated quickly and ordered tea and thai egg rolls to start. Have to say both were pretty bland. I've had better egg rolls from New York City hole-in-the-walls. I then ordered the beef w/ ginger and my husband the Thai steak. His was outstanding, mine, eh. Good flavor but didn't expect a soupy texture. The prices are reasonable. The waiters were attentive but we had a difficult time understanding them. I'll be back to try the sushi.
(3)Krystel N.
Ordered the vegetable curry (which doesn't require a lot of kitchen knowledge) and i dont think im going to eat here again. Ive had better ones...
(2)Dannie M.
YESSSSSSSS this place is so good!!!!!! Thai house is my go to place when Im starving and want quality thai food. The only downside is that they are a little expensive- but you do get what you pay for. The coconut chicken curry dish is amazing! The pork fried rice and all the soup options are very flavorful. Good for take out or eating in- thai house is definitely a great place to eat.
(5)Andre W.
Just a very nice restaurant We were met at the door by the owner. We were treated like royalty and we had the basic food pad thai chicken curry chicken satay just to see if it was good It was a good as it could be a fun atmosphere. The decor was very traditional but a bit dated We would go back in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to friends
(5)Steph D.
Great lunch time prices and choices! I went here for lunch yesterday...exceeded my expectations! I ordered a salad and the Pad Thai (lunch portion). The serving was huge and I loved the crunchy pork bits in the dish...you know when you get served a massive amount of food and you keep telling yourself to stop eating and take some leftovers...that was this dish. It was SOOOO GOOOOOD I ate it all. My tablemate had a bento mix with Grilled Salmon, sushi, fresh fish, the works...she enjoyed it and it looked delicious. The atmosphere was above average for strip mall restaurant in North Miami...the lighting was at a proper level and it was not noisy. The service was a little "wham bam thank you ma'am"...the waitress rushed us to take our order and delivered our check promptly...however, she did not rush us to leave the table- we lingered for 2 hours.
(4)Katie R.
this place needs some major help. i feel bad to give it 1 star since our waitress was really nice, but that's about all it has going for it. being from chicago where thai is rampant, i feel pretty well-cultured in (american) thai food. this was NOT even close to authentic and nothing was good about it. i had the vegetable curry which was unlike ANY thai curry i've ever had (the worst of the worst!). i can't pinpoint exactly what was wrong with it, but the more i think about it it was EVERYTHING. it was literally coconut milk with chili oil (separated from the milk, not even a nice red creamy color - it was white and red), what may have very well been frozen vegetables, and those vegetables being peas, carrots, and some sort of other vegetable - can't even remember, but nothing that is usually in a curry. my friend complained about her fried rice and when i tried it it was wet. nastily so. the tea was good, and that was about it. oh and for considering themselves a "thai house", they only had 3 noodle dishes? three?? really?! we asked if they would be able to make a lard nar or something similar, but the waitress said that "it is really hard to find wide rice noodles in miami". really? miami doesn't get deliveries either?? yikes.
(1)David C.
Heard about this place so many times.. Guess I expected too much. The service is slow and boring. The food is ok. The price is great.. I guess it's a 3 stars restaurant. Not so sure I'll be back.
(3)Ruth H.
Passed thru the strip mall many times and never noticed this old relic existed - and is open to the public. They really should do something to liven the place up a bit, I dunno, like maybe add windows or something. Charming interior, friendly waitress, and the food was not bad at all. Came here for lunch and had the Tofu Panang that came with spring rolls and miso soup. Wanted to try some sushi, but my date was twice as old as this place looks, so no luck there. (sad face)
(4)Martin O.
Thai food isn't a favorite of mine and I almost always have a difficult time finding something on the menu. This time I asked the waiter for some recommendations and more or less couldn't understand anything he was saying. What I could surmise was that every chicken or beef dish was more or less the same with a different sauce. When the orders came, I pretty much felt that was the dining experience. I ordered the broccoli and beef and pork fried rice. Although my beef dish didn't appear to be much different than the W's ginger beef, hers was more tender tender than mine). That all said, don't expect too much when it comes to the quality of the meat here. There is plenty of free parking in this strip mall.
(3)Lilian A.
Ordered delivery 3 times the past month. Great on the first two however, the last one arrives 1 1/2 hours after ordering. She told me just to let the driver know if I don't want the food. Just imagine that you're waiting for food that's past your dinner time and hungry and for them not even trying to empathize and just took the easy way out as a "compromise" , that's a total BS
(2)Allison S.
Thai house is a hidden surprise located in North Miami Beach. While it is located in a strip mall and gives off a less than mediocre appeal, when you walk inside your entire opinion changes. I was pleasantly surprised that I was greeted by a hostess wearing traditional Japanese attire. The menu was pages long with a huge variety of Japanese and Thai cuisine. You can choose to sit at a table or go to a section where you take off your shoes, sit on the floor and enjoy your meal. All of the staff was knowledgable and very friendly. Along with the food being delicious, it was also reasonable priced. If you want a solid menu choice, go for the shrimp or lobster Pad Thai - you can't go wrong! I will definitely be going back for that dish alone.
(4)Steven P.
I'm from New York and have been reluctant to try Thai here because everything else is so sub-par but this place was surprisingly good. They've been open for 30 years! The place is nice. The service was good. The food was excellent. I ordered my usual Shrimp with Basil and Chili and it was on point. Try the Thai fries... Very tasty and original.
(5)JoAnna L.
Tom ka kai soup and spring rolls ....Yummy!
(4)Lisa B.
This is one of my favorite restaurant! I've been going to this restaurant for the past two years. It's a great place for a evening out. The employees are very nice and helpful. The food is great and always fresh. The Banana the Delight is a must have! Although the restaurant was busy on a friday night, I didn't have to wait long. If you're looking for a great place for great Thai food, this is the place.
(4)Rosina M.
You must have the Boston roll and shrimp tempura roll. Delicious!!
(5)D S.
Worst place to eat Thai food in the area! Last time I ordered a seafood curry the scallops were still frozen! There sushi is more or less the quality of the all-you-can eat sushi. I sometimes wonder how they stay in business!!!
(1)Ashley B.
This restaurant has been here forever, which has to tell you something. The food is very good and always consistent. The ambiance is interesting and comfortable. I order many different things here and everything I have ever ordered is very good but my favorite is the Chicken and Chile paste... YUM! Plain and simple... a great Thai restaurant that also serves sushi.
(5)Julia C.
Great food and excellent service.
(4)Rene C.
Ordered a boat for 4, as one of the selections offered for our engagement party, and it came out better than expected. Everyone was impressed with the presentation. Thumbs up!!!
(5)Derek L.
Seriously? Beautiful decor and tasteless food! Big disappointment. I am sad.
(2)Brent M.
Thai House is one of the better sushi restaurants in its price range. Don't expect any dishes that will blow you away (although I'm a big fan of the American Beauty roll), but it's good food, and it's reasonably priced. Can't ask for much more than that. Occasionally, I've gotten slow service, but for the most part my experience here has been a pleasant one. Lovely decor as well.
(4)Lou J.
What can I say that has not been said grate place wild decor, You can't go wrong here. Super busy Fri sat etc. Just go off hours. Save money , and miss the craziness. Grate donuts! Enjoy L Jay

This place has been in NMB for longer then I have been on this earth, and for good reason. The curries are some of the best in South Florida, and unlike many local Thai restaurants, they will actually give it to you HOT if you ask for it. Service is fine and atmosphere is a little dated but OK. The Thai fries are a unique appetizer. Prices are very reasonable for lunch, although it is a little overpriced for dinner.
